Hi Scout or should I say scout less? You are really covering a lot of ground these days. Good for you and congrats on riding past the 2000 mile mark! I have a hybrid battery question for you. Next year Subaru comes out with a nickel metal hydride battery powered car of course also tied to a gas motor. What do you think about that type of battery instead of the other kind?

We’re on our way to do the Death Ride on Sat. 129 mi, 16000 ft of climb, a walk in the park for Frank, a huge challenge for me and I will probably only do part of it. We’ll let you know how we do.

Mike – I just saw the article in the State Journal on your cool Fab Lab for Stoughton High School. Outstanding work! When you are finally home and rested up, we should talk. I think I can offer some interesting ideas and maybe some resources too. Do you think about things like this when you ride or do you just enjoy the countryside?

Hi Mike! You are currently only 63.2 miles from us! Unfortunately, we are heading to Whitewater, WI tomorrow for a family reunion. We probably won’t be able to hook up while you are on the road. If you are so tired, you may need a day off. Hang in there – and I am STILL unbelievably jealous. Like I said before, we will need to do a cross country ride again – want to join us next summer?
